Responsible Gambling at mas4d

Gambling should be enjoyable — a form of entertainment, not a financial strategy or a coping mechanism. At mas4d, responsible gambling is not a legal checkbox. It is a genuine commitment that shapes how we build our platform and how we look after every player in Malaysia.

Strictly 21 and Above — No Exceptions

mas4d enforces a strict minimum age of 21 years for all players. This is not a recommendation or a guideline — it is an absolute requirement and a condition of every registered account on the platform.

Every new account is subject to age verification through our Know Your Customer (KYC) process. We may request government-issued identification documents — such as a Malaysian MyKad, passport, or driving licence — at any stage of the account lifecycle. Any account found to belong to a person under 21 years of age will be permanently suspended without appeal, and all associated funds will be handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

If you are a parent or guardian and suspect that a minor has accessed the mas4d platform, please contact our support team immediately via live chat or at [email protected]. We take these reports extremely seriously and respond as a matter of priority.

Malaysia's Legal Gambling Age

The minimum age for casino-style gambling in Malaysia is 21 years. mas4d enforces this unconditionally through active KYC verification and ongoing account monitoring. Registration is a declaration that you meet this requirement.

What Is Responsible Gambling?

Responsible gambling means making informed choices about when, how often, and how much you gamble — and staying in control of those decisions at all times. It means treating gambling as entertainment, not as a way to solve financial problems or to escape stress.

Most players enjoy gambling as a recreational activity with no negative consequences. But for some, gambling can become a problem. Problem gambling affects mental health, personal relationships, and financial wellbeing. It can happen to anyone, regardless of how long they have been playing or how responsible they considered themselves before.

mas4d is committed to helping players stay on the right side of that line — through practical tools, honest communication, and proactive support when we see warning signs.

You May Have a Gambling Problem If:
  • You gamble with money that is meant for bills, rent, or daily needs.
  • You chase losses by depositing more to try to win back what you lost.
  • You feel anxious, irritable, or depressed when you cannot gamble.
  • You lie to family members about how much you gamble or how much you have lost.
  • Gambling has caused arguments, relationship damage, or financial difficulties.
  • You have tried to stop or cut back but found you could not.

Built-In Controls, Always Accessible

Every responsible gambling tool at mas4d is built directly into your account settings. They are free to use, effective immediately (or within 24 hours where indicated), and never require any approval from our team to activate.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week, or month in MYR. Once your chosen limit is reached, any further deposit attempts will be automatically declined until the limit period resets. Increases to deposit limits require a 7-day cooling-off period before taking effect.

Active Immediately
Loss Limits

Restrict the total amount you can lose within a set period. When your net loss reaches the limit you have set, your account will be restricted from further play until the period resets. This is one of the most effective tools for players who want to manage their spend.

Active Immediately
Session Time Reminders

Choose how long you want your gaming sessions to be — 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or a custom duration. When your session reaches the limit, you will receive a clear reminder notification. You are free to continue, but the reminder keeps you aware of time spent.

Active Immediately
Cooling-Off Period

Take a temporary break from the Platform for 7, 14, 30, or 90 days. During a cooling-off period, your account will be inaccessible for deposits and play. Your balance is preserved and will be available when the period ends. The period cannot be cancelled once activated.

Active Immediately
Self-Exclusion

Permanently exclude yourself from mas4d. Once activated, your account will be closed and you will be prevented from registering a new account on the Platform. Any balance held will be returned to you after a mandatory 30-day review period.

Permanent — Cannot Be Reversed
Activity & Spend Review

Access a full breakdown of your gambling activity at any time — total deposits, total withdrawals, total losses, session durations, and game history. Understanding your pattern of play is the first step to staying in control.

Always Available

Setting and Adjusting Your Limits

All spending limits at mas4d are designed to give you control, with built-in protections against impulsive changes. Here is how the system works so there are no surprises.

Limits can be set at any time through your Account Settings page. Reductions take effect immediately — because choosing to spend less should never require a wait. Increases, however, are subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling-off delay. This gives you time to reconsider and protects you against making impulsive decisions during a losing session.

All limits are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). You can set a daily deposit limit of, for example, RM100 or RM500, or a weekly loss limit of RM300 — whatever aligns with your personal budget.

Tip: Setting a realistic deposit limit before you start playing each month is one of the single most effective things you can do to keep gambling enjoyable and within your means.
Daily Deposit Limit

Caps total deposits across a rolling 24-hour period. Example: set RM200/day and the system will decline any deposit that would push you above that figure. Resets at midnight MYT.

Weekly Deposit Limit

Caps total deposits across a 7-day rolling window. Useful if you prefer weekly budgeting over daily tracking. Reductions apply immediately; increases require a 7-day waiting period.

Monthly Deposit Limit

Caps total deposits within a calendar month. Ideal for players who want to set a firm monthly gambling budget and stick to it without constant self-monitoring.

Loss Limit (Daily / Weekly / Monthly)

Limits net losses within the chosen period. When your total losses reach the threshold, your account is automatically restricted from further play. This protects against the "just one more bet" spiral.

Session Time Limit

Notifies you — or automatically logs you out — when you have been playing continuously for your pre-set duration. Choose from preset options or enter a custom time in minutes.

Are You Gambling Responsibly?

Take a moment to honestly reflect on the following questions. This is a private exercise for your own awareness — not a diagnostic tool. If several of these resonate with you, it may be time to use one of the tools above or seek further support.

1

Do you ever spend more money on gambling than you originally planned to when you sat down?

2

Have you ever felt the need to gamble with increasingly larger amounts to get the same level of excitement?

3

After losing, do you often feel a strong urge to return as soon as possible to win back what you lost?

4

Has anyone in your life — family member, partner, or friend — expressed concern about how much you gamble?

5

Have you ever missed work, school, or a social event because of gambling, or because you were recovering from a long gambling session?

6

Have you borrowed money, sold belongings, or used funds meant for essential expenses such as rent or groceries in order to gamble?

7

Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently throughout the day, even when you are not playing?

8

Have you tried to reduce or stop gambling but found yourself returning despite your own intentions?

If you answered "yes" to two or more of the above, we encourage you to activate at least one spending control tool in your account, or to reach out to one of the support organisations listed below. Seeking help early is a sign of strength, not weakness.
"Gambling at mas4d should always feel like a choice, never a compulsion.
If it stops feeling that way, we want to be the first to help you take back control."

10 Tips for Keeping Gambling Enjoyable

These habits are simple but highly effective. Players who follow even a few of them consistently report a significantly better gambling experience.

1
Set a Budget Before You Play

Decide exactly how much you can afford to lose — not how much you hope to win. If you hit that amount, stop.

2
Never Chase Your Losses

Trying to win back money you have already lost is one of the most common and most damaging patterns in problem gambling. A loss is a loss — walk away.

3
Treat It as Entertainment, Not Income

Gambling is designed to be fun, not a reliable income stream. Approach it the way you would a night out — with a budget and no expectation of profit.

4
Take Regular Breaks

Step away from the screen regularly. Long, uninterrupted sessions impair decision-making. A 15-minute break can reset your judgment.

5
Do Not Gamble Under the Influence

Alcohol and substances affect your judgment and risk assessment. Avoid gambling when your ability to make clear decisions is impaired.

6
Keep Gambling Separate from Financial Stress

If you are worried about money, gambling is not the answer. The stress of trying to gamble your way out of financial difficulty almost always makes things worse.

7
Use Your Account Tools Proactively

Set your deposit and loss limits before your next session, not after a bad one. Proactive limits are far more effective than reactive ones.

8
Balance Gambling With Other Activities

Make sure gambling is one of many leisure activities in your life — not the only one. Maintaining diverse interests reduces the risk of over-reliance.

9
Talk to Someone You Trust

If gambling is affecting your mood, your relationships, or your finances, talk to a trusted friend, family member, or professional. Saying it out loud is often the most important step.

10
Know When to Stop — For Good

If gambling is consistently causing you harm, self-exclusion is a valid and permanent option. There is no shame in choosing not to gamble. Your wellbeing comes first.
